Current Store candidate · build 3

Build 3 retains Kokoro-82M-8bit with Heart and Alpha. It replaces the earlier pronunciation chain with an Apache/MIT frontend and uses controlled LGPL FFmpeg with VideoToolbox. macOS system voices are not part of this runtime.

Read the current notices and modification/replacement instructions. Download matching FFmpeg 7.1.1 source, the build configuration, and num2words 0.5.14 source. Both LGPL components' complete source and licences are also included in the app. MPL certifi/tqdm source files and licences are included with the app's Python packages. MARISA uses its BSD option. Other selected components retain their permissive notices.

Kokoro model and voice weights are Apache-2.0. Pinned MLX model card, upstream model card, model attribution, Apache-2.0 licence.

Store build 2 replacement

The October 27 Store candidate replaces the earlier GPL runtime with a controlled LGPL FFmpeg 7.1.1 build and installed macOS voices. It has passed Apple validation and uploaded for processing, but has not been submitted. Apple’s system-voice output restrictions remain unsuitable for unrestricted public narration; imported authorised PCM WAV remains available, and another speech backend is under investigation. The source records below for build 1 remain available for that earlier artifact.

This software uses libraries from the FFmpeg project under the LGPLv2.1. Download matching unmodified FFmpeg 7.1.1 source, the Store build configuration, and notices and replacement instructions. SHA-256: 733984395e0dbbe5c046abda2dc49a5544e7e0e1e2366bba849222ae9e3a03b1. These files are also supplied inside the app and reachable through its application menu.

The Store candidate excludes Kokoro, phonemizer, eSpeak, x264, x265, Xvid, Rubber Band and GPL-enabled FFmpeg. Development/TestFlight build-1 records below describe a different package.

Videogen Studio 1.0, build 1

Source audit in progress. These verified third-party sources and modifications are available now. This collection is not yet represented as complete corresponding source for the entire distributed runtime. Remaining work includes original build controls, dependencies and narration-worker licensing scope. Production App Store submission is pending.

Build and modification context

The FFmpeg build enables GPL and version-3 components. Its recovered Homebrew recipe uses the linked upstream release and SVT-AV1 patch. The speech worker uses eSpeak NG through phonemizer. Our phonemizer adaptation keeps native eSpeak images in the signed app bundle and uses validated local data paths. Both pristine upstream and exact shipped modified Python sources are provided above.

The source and build audit is continuing. An archive checksum verifies downloaded bytes; it does not certify a reproducible binary match or completed licensing review.
